Fellowship for the Study of Russia and Ballet

 

The Fellowship for the Study of Russia and Ballet is a collaboration between the Center for Ballet and the Arts and the Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia at NYU. The jointly sponsored fellowship is designed to support scholars working on a topic that relates to both Russia and ballet. Fellows will work in residence at CBA and will also have access to the community and resources of the Jordan Center. Fellows will be chosen based upon agreement of both Centers’ review committees.

Fellowships are open to scholars interested in pursuing original projects. There is no age requirement. Applicants must show exceptional promise and/or have demonstrated significant accomplishments in their field. Applicants must have a PhD or appropriate terminal degree. Students are not eligible for this fellowship. Fellows are in residence for 1 to 4 months in either the fall or spring academic semesters and will receive a monthly stipend of $3000, prorated to actual dates of residency.
