Jordan Center New York City Summer Fellowship

Option A. Funding for Unpaid Russia-Related Internships 

Description: The Jordan Center New York City Summer Fellowship in Support of Russia Related Internships and Research supports undergraduate and MA students who have obtained unpaid Russia-related summer internships in New York City over the summer. Selected fellows will receive funding to cover the cost of living in New York City for up to 8 weeks. All fellows will be paired with individual mentors in their chosen areas of interest, with whom they will meet throughout the summer. A series of career-related conversations will also take place throughout the summer with professionals from a wide array of fields working on Russia-related projects.

Deadline EXTENDED: May 1, 2022

Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate or MA students at NYU. Applicants must have either already obtained an internship offer by the time of applying. All internships and research projects must be based in New York City.

Applicants must submit:

  1. One page statement of interest
  2. Current CV or resume
  3. Internship Confirmation
  4. One letter of recommendation

Option B. Funding for Russia-Related Research 

Description: The Jordan Center New York City Summer Fellowship in Support of Russia Related Internships and Research supports undergraduate and MA students who seek to conduct Russia-related research in New York City over the summer. Selected fellows will receive funding to cover the cost of living in New York City for up to 8 weeks. All fellows will be paired with individual mentors in their chosen areas of interest, with whom they will meet throughout the summer. A series of career-related conversations will also take place throughout the summer with professionals from a wide array of fields working on Russia-related projects.

  1. One page research statement
  2. Current CV or resume
  3. Letter of recommendation from a professor or TA (ideally from someone advising applicant on the research project).

The Jordan Center Fellowship Committee will review complete applications and decisions will be announced within 2-3 weeks of the submission deadline.
