Visiting Scholars

Purpose: The Jordan Center visiting scholar fellowship program aims to support scholars whose research interests are focused on Russia. The fellowship provides individuals with access to the NYU library system, invitations to Jordan Center events, and membership in the Jordan Center community.

Deadline: May 1, 2024

Eligibility: Applicants may include any scholars working on Russia related topics who are already residing in the NYC area that would benefit from an affiliation with NYU and the Jordan Center and would like to be a part of our community. Advanced PhD students pursuing research related to their dissertations are also welcome to apply.

Visiting Scholars are not employees of NYU and under no circumstances should they be considered as such. Note also that the visiting scholar do not receive financial support from the Jordan Center and are only intended for those residing in the NYC area. Visiting Scholar affiliation is generally available by academic semester (Fall/Spring/Summer) for up to three terms with the possibility of renewal for one additional year.

Application Guidelines: 

 Applicants should submit:

  • a current curriculum vitae;
  • a one-three page research statement
