Organized by Deutsches Haus at New York University, and co-sponsored by DAAD, the NYU Department of Russian and Slavic Studies, the NYU Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia, and the Ukrainian Institute of America. Join us for a panel on the role of Europe in the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

At this event, former legislator's Bill Delahunt (D-MA, 1997-2011), Gil Gutknecht (R-MN, 1995-2007), Harald Leibrecht (FDP- Baden-Württemberg, 2002-2013), and Hans-Ulrich Klose (SPD-Hamburg, 1983-2013) will discuss the current conflict over Crimea between Russia and the Ukraine, and examine the questions of whether Europe needs to develop a new strategy towards Russia. What role might Germany possibly play in this context? The discussion will be moderated by Professor Christiane Lemke, the Max Weber Chair in German and European Studies at NYU.

A light breakfast will be served, and a full panel program is available on the event webpage.

Please let us know you would like to attend this event by sending us an email to deutscheshaus.rsvp@nyu.edu. Space is limited; please arrive ten minutes prior to the event to ensure seating.
