George Kovalenko

George Kovalenko is a Visiting Scholar in New York University’s Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia and an Affiliate Scholar in the Center for Cultural Analysis at Rutgers University. His research has appeared or is forthcoming in New German Critique, Poetics Today, and The Wallace Stevens Journal. He is co-editor of the essay collection, Poetics and the Early Frankfurt School, under contract with Routledge. His work has received financial support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Leo Baeck Institute, and the Feuchtwanger Memorial Library at the University of Southern California. His poetry and translations have appeared in such venues as The American Poetry Review, Copper Nickel, and The Southern Review. He holds an M.F.A. from NYU and a Ph.D. from the University of Denver.
