Dr. Tatiana Linkhoeva is Associate Professor of modern Japanese History at New York University. She specializes in Japanese empire and Japanese-Mongolian-Soviet relations. Native of the republic of Buryatia, Dr. Linkhoeva graduated from Moscow State University, received her MA from the University of Tokyo, and PhD in History from UC Berkeley in 2015. Her first book, Revolution Goes East. Imperial Japan and Soviet Communism was published by Cornell University Press in 2020.
